Dear friends of the Czech Republic,
Following the signing of a Cultural and Co-operation Agreement between the Prague National Theatre and Teatru Manoel, a ""Malta Musical Evening"" will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on the 11th November 2007.
ProMuzika one of Malta’s leading chamber ensembles will be playing the original composes of 20th Century Maltese composers. Also featuring in the programme is the Maltese soprano Lydia Caruana. The Malta event is being organised by Theatre Manoel Management Committee and supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malta Tourism Authority, Malta International Airport plc and the Honorary Consulate of Malta in Prague and the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Malta. This event is an exchange for the two Ballet performances held in Malta in 2006 by the Corps des Ballet of the Prague National Theatre at the Teatru Manoel.
For this unique cultural experience, NSTS will be organising a special tour to Prague to coincide with this event which will also take advantage of other cultural performances being held at the Prague National Theatre during the same period and will include a Ballet performance and an Opera. Other activities are listed in the tour programme hereunder. Further information will be available in the Press soon following the launch event being scheduled for the 25th October 2007
Needless to mention that such a unique tour will attract various theatre lovers and as such we are making this pre-launch announcement to the members of the Maltese - Czech Society and Friends of the Czech Republic on our database.
