Week 3: You Are Healed

Isaiah 53 is a powerful prophetic word about the Christ coming and taking our place and bearing our sins and sicknesses. Verse 4 tells us that Jesus bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases. Verse 6 tells us that by His stripes we ARE healed.

When Peter quotes Isaiah in his first letter (1 Peter 2.24), Peter says “By His stripes you WERE healed.” That is a staggering thing to say. Isaiah in the Old Covenant looking forward to what Christ will do says you ARE healed. Peter looking back at the cross says you WERE healed.

One of the most important revelations you need to have and understand about healing is that your healing has already been completed. You are not trying to get healed. You are not trying to receive your healing. Your healing is not in outer space and you are trying to twist God’s arm to give it to you by your goodness and your confessions and your prayers. No! You were healed and you are healed. You are a healed person dealing with sickness. You are not a sick person trying to get well. You have to get this fixed in your mind because as you think in your heart, that is what you are (Proverbs 23.7)

Once you realize you are healed, then all fear of not getting healed goes. The devil may lie to you and tell you that you are not going to get it, but you can just laugh at that because you have already got it.

You have it in your spirit. All you have to do is renew your mind to the fact you have it and it will flow from your spirit to your body.
