With exhilarating indoor shows, product presentations and the latest in modelling technology FASZINATION MODELLTECH in Sinsheim from 24th - 26th March gets the 2017 model engineering season off to an im- pressively dynamic start. The numerous dedicated exhibitors, clubs and societies, experts and insiders present the freshest trends of the in- dustry live und in action: Sprightly model aircraft, classy RC cars and powerful truck models inspire the modelling community year after year in many different ways at FASZINATION MODELLTECH!
Springtime sees the start of the active model engineering season! Just after the official first day of spring, FASZINATION MODELLTECH bursts into life with its in- comparable RC car show including tyre football and micro-modelling in scale 1:87, with table-top truck trial and demonstration workshop. Cool RC car off- road action, heavy vehicle manoeuvres on two truck courses, a lively layout for construction vehicles, military layout and the quirky snowcat show fulfil every possible wish for modelling fans of all ages. Discover the latest in model drones and marvel at model rocket construction. In the indoor action show of RC slow flyers renowned pilots present the latest models and their own unique self-built creations. Numerous hands-on activities for kids and young people, the inform- ative Modelltech Forum for technical buffs and knowledge seekers, exquisite model aircraft on display and of course the high quality product assortments of exhibiting companies and accessory suppliers round off this mega modelling event.
Non-stop RC car live action and heavy truck parade! Cool RC vehicles, daring stunt acrobatics and numerous new products intro- duced by leading manufacturers: The RC Car Arena welcomes all active racing drivers and promises plenty of live action for spectators! The biggest clouds of dust are stirred up by the wild speedsters on the off-road course. Stunt ramp, platform and steep slope offer RC pilots ideal obstacles for impressive show driving and spectacular speed contests. Freestyle acrobats amaze even the most extreme stunt fans: RC cars fly over the ramps at incredibly high speed and perform an explosion of brilliant moves and technical skills high up under the roof of the hall. And if you've now tasted blood, then don't miss TryMe: am- bitious RC car fans can try their skills on the racetrack and find out how it feels to be part of the action. Experts are on hand to give exclusive tips on how to perfect your driving skills. And the best drivers will even be presented with a certificate.

Those who understand that good things get even better when combined will know that football and cars go together like cheese and jam - perfectly! "Re- vo-Ball" uses the basic principles of the conventional football, but with loads of added fun and action-packed elements. High-tech mini speedsters steered by RC pros play against each other, racing up and down the pitch, jumping over each other, with the sole aim of mercilessly smashing the ball into the oppon- ent's net. Mega fun for spectators and players!
Heavy-duty vehicles, scalers and crawlers on two truck layouts and the con- struction site as well as historic and modern tanks on the military layout fascin- ate the model engineering community with their technical brilliance and detailed perfection. High flyers par excellence They may be slow and sedate but they are capable of the most amazing acro- batics and offer their avid audience a truly spectacular event. In the ever-popu- lar "Indoor Action" show with exciting special light effects and accompanied by appropriate music the RC slow flyers will again fly incredible manoeuvres and introduce state-of-the-art innovations. Dedicated 'AIRtists' perform hair-raising flight acrobatics, the exhibitors' latest featherweight models are presented in full action floating up to the roof of the hall, and numerous self-builds offer un- paralleled inspiration, especially for young modellers, in this moderated indoor flight show.
Climb in and take off! For the first time the German Aero Club will be bringing a glider flight simulator to FASZINATION MODELLTECH - so come aboard and take off! Flight characteristics and manoeuvres are realistically simulated, just as they would be flown in a real plane. Take-off, landing, thermic gliding and hang- gliding (almost) fulfil the dream of being able to fly. And those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground are sure to find a suitable model to see the world from a bird's eye view among the popular drones offered by numerous suppli- ers.
"Serious model-making" is fun for kids Being actively involved in the technical creativity of modelling makes it especially easy for the younger generation to be motivated by the wide spectrum of model engineering. After all, they are the racing drivers, flying aces and precision artists of tomorrow. That is why this year the first day of the fair is again dedicated to local school classes and kindergartens. Over 200 youngsters are expected to be there, joining in the fun for some "serious model-making". For example at the crafts area of the Aichner stand, where kids can design their own simple aircraft or boat model and build it under expert guidance. The parts are cut or sawn directly out of wood, then sanded and glued together. Drills, hot air dryers and other necessary tools are all available at the stand to enhance the ultimate modelling experience at FASZINATION MODELLTECH.

Casual and informal - the Modelltech Forum Practical tips from the experts and a host of information on the latest digital features and brand-new models are available to the model engineering com- munity at the popular Modelltech Forum. Technology buffs and know- ledge-hungry modellers can listen to concise specialised talks by model engin- eering experts, while the latest news from within the modelling industry and fascinating videos round off the forum programme which is free for all visitors. Shoptalk explicitly encouraged!
Come on in! Ticket raffle and advance sale If you just can't wait to wander around the International Fair for Model Aircraft, Cars & Trucks, an advance online ticket will give you the feeling of already being welcome, and on the day of your visit to the fair you can go straight through the entrance control point into FASZINATION MODELLTECH without queuing at the box office. The annual ticket competition is also available online, in which 20x 2 tickets will again be raffled. The winners will be sent a direct link in order to register and print out their free tickets to the show. Come on in!
