Use the materials provided to complete the lab investigation on the seasons

1. The tennis balls will represent the earth and the sun but are not

to scale.

2. The ruler represents 93 million miles, the distance to the sun

from the Earth.

3. The front of the classroom will be North and the North Pole

should always point to the North.

1. Pull the cards from the bag and match them. There are 3 cards that will match up. (work on this as a team or with a partner).

2. After you have the cards matched up, get a set of handouts from the envelope and cut out the pieces. Glue the pieces on to a piece of construction paper, like the example.

3. Add color to your foldable by labeling the season in the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere on the pictures.
