Instructions for Viewing

NOTE: A Windows PC and Internet Explorer are required - DVD is not compatible on a Macintosh computer.

1. Insert DVD in the DVD player on your computer (not the DVD player on your TV). It must be a DVD player; not a CD player. 2. You may automatically get a window that says: “My Disc: (E)” “This disk or device contains more than one type of content. What do you want Windows to do?”

Cancel out of this window.

3. Double click on “My Computer” on your desktop. 4. Double click on your DVD drive. 5. You will see four icons on the DVD: (See FIGURE A) Example:

1) “EDDL630” (Name of class; yours may be different) Double click on EDDL630. Scroll down all the way to the end and double click on the icon for “HTML Document”. (See FIGURE B) This will give you the Table of Contents. (See FIGURE C) From the Table of Contents double click on Part I, Part II, etc. to view each lecture. You may get a beep and message that says you have your pop-up blocker on. If so, just click to allow.

2) “EDDL630” Class Notes” (Professor’s class notes)

3) “Instructions for Viewing” (A copy of these instructions)

4) “RealPlayer 10.5” (Link to install RealPlayer 10.5 if you don’t have it already) RealPlayer 10.5 is required to view your DVD. If you do not have it, click on the RealPlayer 10.5 icon on your DVD and follow the directions. If you have Real Player 11 on your computer, you must uninstall it and then install Real Player 10. 5.
