Permissive Price Agreements

The State of Alaska has negotiated price discounts with various vendors throughout the state in the form of Permissive Price Agreements. These agreements have been established to assist state agencies (and in some cases political subdivision of the state). Purchases that qualify for this program are for amounts of $5,000 or less, under reasonable and adequate competition procedures1. These agreements are not considered procurements - the actual procurement occurs when the state agency makes the purchase in accordance with the procurement laws, regulations, and policies of the State of Alaska.

NOTE: In order to obtain the discounts mentioned below, goods/services ordered under this program must be used for official state business only and purchased using a State of Alaska issued purchasing card, purchase order, delivery order, or warrant.
