Agenda topics Spring Conference Update The Spring Conference will be held on Friday, April 12th at the Country Springs Hotel in Waukesha. Conference planning began on November 12th. The following speakers and topics have been confirmed:  Session 1: Eligibility & Claim Status - Lessons Learned – Issues / Roadblocks that need to be overcome going forward with new transactions. Ross Lippencott, UnitedHealthcare  Session 2: Operating Rules for EFT & 835. Deb Strickland, TIBCO Software Inc.  Session 3: HPID/OEID. Any topics for a deliverable? (i.e. list of payers in the state meeting operating rule requirements for eligibility, etc.) Discussion was held with group about possible deliverables they would like to work on and develop during upcoming year. Jen (WI Medical Society) suggested a spreadsheet listing major payers that providers are working with in regards to ICD10 readiness and testing capabilities, instructions, etc. We need to start compiling a list of payers and assign people within group to work on information, etc. Action items: Person responsible: Deadline: Email to group asking for list of Suzanne Geske Open, pending response from top ten payers they would like group. Email to be sent by to have information on. 1/1/2013. Topics to Discuss in 2013 Other topics that the group would like to continue are: 1. HPID (OEID) 2. Operating Rules (next emphasis on EFT / ERA 3. ICD10 – ongoing until implementation. 3. Affordable Care Act and impact to payers / providers (meaningful use) was suggested as possible discussion by Paul S. at Waukesha County Government. Action items: Person responsible: Deadline:

Other Issues/Problems/Concerns 1. There was a discussion regarding the new psych services CPT codes that are being implemented. Numerous codes are either being replaced or removed and there were questions to payers on the call whether or not they were ready to accept new codes and/or changes. Joe (Unity Health) was on call and he stated that Unity was ready as far as he knew. WEA stated that they will be ready by implementation date of 1/1/13. WPS commercial is ready per Connor. Jen (WI Med Society) has reached out to WI MGMA to ask about possible issues / roadblocks that they have heard of, etc. To date, she had not heard back from anyone. She will report any issues that she is given to group. 2. ICD10 Initiative: Report from Connor – Indicated that group is going through a “re-structuring” of sorts to determine best course of action moving forward. They have teamed up with Minnesota ICD10 Collaborative and feel they are gaining synergy. Tricare. NGS and CMS have recently joined their group so they are looking forward to working with them during the next year. Action items: Person responsible: Deadline:
