PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE REQUESTING YOUR TOUR General operational hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10AM-4PM. The Houston Fire Museum conducts tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays only. Groups are expected to arrive on-time and must present their tour confirmation and itinerary, which will be e-mailed to them upon finalization. If your group is running late, please let us know as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee tours for groups that are more than 20 minutes late. Tours must be requested at least two weeks in advance. We are a small museum and cannot accommodate large tour groups. Acceptance of tour groups is at the discretion of the museum staff in charge of booking. The museum reserves the right to turn away unscheduled groups due to overcrowding. Tour requests DO NOT guarantee booking. We receive numerous requests on a regular basis and will respond as soon as possible. Please allow a review period of no fewer than 3 business days before following up on your request. If we are able to accommodate your tour, we will follow up by e-mail with an acknowledgement and invoice you for your deposit (payable online by credit card); we will not confirm your tour until your deposit is received. If you must make other payment arrangements, please note so below. We will offer a courtesy e-mail to groups whose requests cannot be accommodated. If you do not receive notification of acceptance or rejection within 3 business days, please let us know. No discounts or coupons may be applied to tour fees. Regular admission rates apply and are as follows: $5 per adult, $4 per senior (55+), $3 per child. For booking dates in and beyond July 2017, we will require a $20 deposit which will be applied toward your tour fee. In order to receive a refund on your deposit, you must cancel your tour no later than 1 week prior to your scheduled date. You may then re-submit a tour request for another date and time, subject to availability. If your group requires special assistance, please let us know in the form below.

EXPECTATIONS, GUIDELINES, AND CONSIDERATIONS Children are the responsibility of chaperone(s) and must be monitored by chaperone(s) at all times. There must be at least 1 chaperone present per 10 children. The exhibit portion of our museum is hands-off unless otherwise instructed. Our museum includes an interactive children's area. Please encourage children to play cautiously and monitor their activity. We do not allow consumption of food or beverages in the museum. No running is allowed in the museum. Please remember that our museum is a historic site; teach children to respect the building and its unique collection of artifacts. Please emphasize proper museum etiquette: quiet voices, orderly movement, and observation of signage. Damage to museum property by your guests will be the responsibility of your organization. This includes any bunker gear laundry fees ($10.00 fee per item for laundry expenses); we strongly encourage that you follow our itinerary with suggested restroom breaks. Parking is available on Milam during regular business hours. We cannot guarantee parking in the alley beside our museum; however, you are welcome to unload and reload buses and vehicles in front of our museum for a safer walk-path. Unfortunately, our historic museum is not ADA compliant. Please notify us if you have guests with disabilities, so we may better shape programming to their needs.
