Judy Martinez: Maricopa County leading an exercise in March 2018 in Chandler. A strategic stockpile exercise. We are looking for volunteers.
2018 Board Member Selection Reviewed open positions Will send out candidates for voting in October
December Event Susan spoke to the “Build a Bike” event on December 7th. 11 to 1. Eat at beginning. Introduce “New Pathways” Near convention center. 3 Activity is sponsored by a different charity. Discussed requesting RSVPs a bit earlier, perhaps a week out, to for food ordering and bike building planning.
Chapter MVP Award - Annual award. We will send out a form for nominations. Any input is appreciated.
MAIN TOPIC: Harlan Dolgin presented on Bioterrorism Preparedness, focusing on setting up closed PODs. (Point of dispensing) Presentation forwarded to web director. Questions included how St Louis achieved the highest closed POD participation rates, whether employee’s family members can use the closed PODs, legal concerns with closed PODs.
