Completed application forms should be submitted to [email protected] marked ‘Ron Hitchins Flamenco Dance Prize’ to arrive by 30 September, 2017 Terms and Conditions: 1. The candidate must be a UK resident and have received flamenco tuition in the UK. 2. The decision of the Committee of the Peña Flamenca de Londres on the award of the bursary and runners-up will be final and the Committee will not enter into correspondence about the criteria used to judge the competition. 3. The teacher of the successful candidate and the candidate themselves will be asked to agree in advance with the Committee of the Peña Flamenca de Londres any publicity or internet media promotion relating to the bursary. 4. The candidate agrees to perform at the November Peña show and if successful to receive the winner’s prize or runner-up award at the December show. 5. Where the candidate is under the age of 18, the consent of a parent/guardian must be obtained to enter the competition. 6. The winner of the bursary must agree with the Peña what she or he intends to do with the money awarded and must claim the bursary within one year of being awarded the money. 7. The winner will report back to the Peña after the bursary has been used and include any photos of the trip/course for use on the Peña’s web site and in Flamenco News magazine. 8. Entrants agree to being photographed and filmed at the Peña and the use of these images in both promoting the Peña and the benefits of the bursary. 9. Previous winners cannot enter but previous runners-up are welcome to try again for the main bursary prize.
