LABORATORY MANAGER Town of Merrimack Wastewater Division

The Lab Manager performs technical laboratory work in the analysis of wastewater to determine the characteristics of influent and effluent wastewaters to assure compliance with EPA and NHDES regulatory standards, as well as analysis of both potable and non-potable waters as required by other departments. Merrimack’s facility is a grade IV Wastewater Treatment Facility. Applicants must meet NELAC minimum qualifications for Technical Director or meet the requirements of NHDES Env-C 305.4 “Exceptions to the Technical Manager Qualifications”. This is a professional level position, performing a variety of analyses to identify components in the town’s wastewater system.

Normal work schedule is M-F, 7am to 3pm. The starting wage not to exceed $63,000, DOE. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including participation in the NH Retirement System.
