Job Title: Catering Supervisor (Costa Coffee)

Department: Campus Retail & Commercial Operations

Reports to: Food Services Coordinator

Job Purpose: To Supervise the daily operation of the ‘Costa Coffee’ outlet. To ensure that key performance indicators and brand standards are met.

Duties:

1: To ensure that outlet brand standards and other key performance indicators are met under the direction of the Food Services Coordinator.

2: To supervise outlet casual staff and motivate staff to increase sales and ensure efficiency.

3: To undertake product ordering and to operate stock control system ensuring stockholding levels are managed in line with business levels. To assist with monthly stock-take and to ensure effective stock rotation.

4: To adhere to financial policies and procedures. To ensure cashing up procedures are followed.

5: To ensure the cleanliness, safety and food hygiene of ‘Costa Coffee’ and equipment.

6: To keep all records up to date and accurate i.e wastage/fridge temperatures/cleaning schedules.

7: To ensure Health & Safety of staff & visitors is maintained. To carry out safety checks within the department on a regular basis.

8: to carry out any other duties as requested by the Food Services Coordinator which are commensurate with the nature and grade of the post. Catering Supervisor (Costa Coffee)

Experience

Reasonable supervisory experience within hospitality operation E
