Monica and Carole will discuss ways to ensure compliance with regard to licensing, record keeping, and curriculum practices - emphasizing current concerns in this sector. They will share best practices currently in use at schools, as well as input received from Bureau staff members. THIS SESSION WILL BE FEATURED TWO TIMES - EACH SESSION IS SIZE LIMITED LOCATION: BRADLEY SOUTH “How to Terminate the Employee from Hell.” Jon Farrell, Esq. - Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP This presentation will educate attendees how to terminate the difficult, problematic employee, with the proper and necessary documentation and paperwork. The session will particularly deal with terminating employees in protected classes who have threatened litigation if they (the problematic employee) are terminated. The session will include several case studies which include the completion of the proper disciplinary forms and conclude with a question and answer session.
