You are to create a minor folio of work consisting of 15 minor painting experiments using acrylic paints.

MINOR FOLIO OF EXPERIMENTS REQUIREMENTS:  Flat opaque painting (e.g. A solid flat area of pink)  Transparent glaze (e.g. a flat area of transparent colour created by diluting the acrylic painting with water)  Blending from one colour to another (e.g. a slow gradual change from yellow to green)  Monochromatic blending (e.g. a slow gradual change from light blue to dark blue)  Dry brush (e.g. With a dry brush painting red over a dry layer of orange)  Sgraffito (e.g. scratching away the top layer of green to reveal the bottom layer of white)  Scumbling (e.g. painting thin layers of opaque cream over dark brown)  Wax resist (e.g. rub candle wax over an area, then paint)  Impasto (e.g. mix impasto gel/texture paste into the paint and apply using a palette knife OR apply texture paste to the surface, let dry then paint over the top)  Glad wrap (e.g. Paint an area then while still wet scrunch glad wrap onto the surface, remove when dry)  Adding other media to paint (e.g. mix sand into the paint and apply thickly to the surface)  Painting on textured surface (e.g. glue down creased tissue and dry brush over)  Hard edge painting with masking tape (e.g. Mask off areas using masking tape and paint. Remove tape to reveal straight, neat lines and edges)  Oil pastels (e.g. Paint a flat area and allow to dry. Apply oil pastels to sections)  Coloured pencil (e.g. Paint a flat area and allow to dry.
