Accessing myNetLearning Computer Based Learning Modules (CBLs) myNetLearning is the web-based educational program used by the Health System for some orientation training. You are required to complete mandatory training modules prior to your arrival to your assigned clinical unit/area. In addition, there may be other modules assigned as determined by the area manager based on services rendered and unit/area work environment, or you might be interested in others for continuing education purposes.

To determine what modules you will need to complete, log on to the myNetLearning system following the directions below. If a module has been assigned to you, it will appear on the main menu in the section titled myCourses/Classes. In addition, you should check with your instructor or preceptor to see if you are required to complete any other modules that were not pre-assigned.

When you have completed all of the modules, you must print a transcript and give it to your instructor or preceptor. myNetLearning will work with any internet browser, however Internet Explorer 5.0 or newer is recommended. 1. Login to the Learning Management/myNetLearning Web Site: Go to https://lms.netlearning.com/mynetlearning/UVA 2. Read the directions in the upper right hand corner of the page. 3. Select the “Badge” option and enter the 9-digit badge number (from your ID Badge or provided to you by your clinical instructor) in the “Participant ID” field. 4. Enter your password (the last 4 digits of your badge number). 5. Click . 6. A list of modules that must be completed will appear on your “myCourses/Classes” list – click on any title to begin. 7. For each module, when prompted for login ID and password, enter “elearning” for both. 8. When finished reading the course content for each module, be sure to click on the “Take Test” button to complete the post-test. 9. When you have finished a module, the system will take you back to the menu - click on the next assigned CBL until all are complete. You are done when there are no modules listed in the “myCourses/Classes” section of the menue and all of the assigned CBLs appear on the “myCompletions” section of the menu.

If you do not have access to a computer on your job or at your school, computers are available in the Health Sciences Library.
