About How To Discern The Will Of God As a Christian you make decisions every day of your life. As a Christian you need to understand that every decision you make in life leads to a consequence. The consequence of those decisions could either be a blessing or a burden in your life! That’s why it is important for every Christian to know how to discern the will of God.

I. Guidance Is Promised Acts 9:6b, Psalm 32:8, Proverbs 3:6, Isaiah 58:11 1. God’s Prevailing Will Proverbs 19:20-21 2. God’s Permissive Will Deut. 30:19; 2nd Peter 3:9 3. God’s Personal Will Psalm 37:23-

II. Guidance Is Provisional 1. Willingness Acts 9:6a, Isaiah 6:8 2. Meekness Acts 9:8, Psalm 25:9 3. Openness Acts 9:6a, 1st Kings 19:11-12 4. Yieldedness Acts 9:8-11

III. Guidance Is Practical 1. We are guided by the miracles of God. Acts 9:3-4 2. We are guided by the Word of God. Acts 9:5, Romans 12:1-2 3. We are guided by the People of God. Acts 9:10-12 4. We are guided by the Spirit of God. Acts 9:17; Romans 8:14 5. We are guided by the Wisdom of God. Acts 9:20-22; James 1:5 6. We are guided by the Providence of God. Acts 9:23-25

IV. Three Principles About The Will of God 1. The will of God is for your good! 2. The will of God will never take you were the power of God and the grace of God cannot keep you! 3. God will not force His will on you, you are free to choose!
