Meet Format Changes (please review) KRISTA RUST MEMORIAL SPRINT MEET WEST FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA DECEMBER 1st, 2012 USA SANCTION NO. ND 1184

SPONSORS: West Fargo Swim Team and Parents Club

COURSE: Six lanes: 25 Yard, L.E. Berger Pool, 631 4th Avenue East, West Fargo, ND. Pool depth: 12’6” to 5’6”. The starting blocks are on the deep end, with a six lane Daktronics aquatics timing system scoreboard.

RULES: The 2011 USA Short Course rules and safety policies adopted by the NDLSC govern this meet. The Whistle Start and No Recall False Start will be used for this meet. This is a timed final meet. There is no clerk of course of seed cards for the swimmers. Swimmers for relays can be made with the referee and computer manager 30 minutes before the start of the meet. Swimmers should appear behind the starting blocks according to the heat and lane assignments that appear in the program. Swimmers not appearing in their assigned places are scratched from the event. The referee reserves the right to combine any heats or events.

BACKSTROKERS MUST ENTER THE WATER FEET FIRST!

AWARDS: Ribbons 1st-12th place in individual events and 1st-3rd for relay events. No team points will be awarded.

TIME: This will be a single session meet. Warm-ups will be from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. The meet starts at 9:00a.m. Coach and officials meeting will be in the multipurpose room at 8:30.

ENTRY FEES: The entry fee for this meet is $25 per swimmer.

EVENT LIMIT: Each swimmer can swim 4 individual events (one from each stroke grouping) and 1 relay.

ELIGIBILITY: Entry is limited to 2012/2013 USA & CASA swimmers. Age as of the first day of the meet will determine each swimmer’s age group.

SEED TIME: All times should be submitted in Yards. Swimmers will be seeded as per USA rules. Master sheets must be completed in full for each swimmer. No late entries nor NT (no times) will be accepted. AGE GROUPS: Ribbons will be awarded 8-U, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18. Events will be swum mixed age and gender, seeded by time.

No late entries will be accepted. Entry fees must be included. Make checks payable to the West Fargo Swim Team, PO Box 842, West Fargo, ND 58078. Fees are not refundable. The meet is limited to 250 swimmers. Hy-Tek Software entries should be emailed to Meet Manager. Entry fees must be included with the submission of entry forms and U.S. exchange added. # 1 All officials and coaches are required to wear their registration cards to be on deck in accordance with NDLSC Policy. # 2 For every meet or portion of meet in which there are fewer than eight officials working, there will be a mandatory 10-minute break every hour.

# 3 No person without a coach membership will be allowed to participate in any coaching capacity at any USA Swimming sanctioned competition. Coaches are required to carry their cards at meets, and be in full compliance #4 A 10 minute Coaches, Officials, and Timers meeting will take place immediately following event #2 in the multipurpose room.
