Interment Form Notes

Bookings can be made Monday to Friday 10am-3pm, 5 working days’ notice required

Interment form to be completed and returned before the interment. If the applicant is not the garden owner we will need written permission from all owners before the interment can take place

If the funeral director is to deliver the casket please notify them of the date and time of the interment so they can ensure the casket is given to us in good time.

If the family are bringing the casket on the day ensure the cremation certificate is kept with the casket as we MUST have this document for our files

The casket is to be of a biodegradable material; we have cardboard caskets available and can transfer the ashes for a small fee

Families may organise their own minister/ceremony, we do not provide this service. You are welcome to use the robe room for this

An electric buggy can be booked for the day and can carry 3 passengers; there is no charge for this

Refreshments available before the interment and must be booked in advance. We need to know numbers and there is a fee for this.

Fees are to be paid in advance or on the day. If a delay is expected please discuss this with the office. We accept cheque, cards, cash and bank transfer

Plaques take about 4 weeks to organise, please bear this in mind if you want it ready for the interment. Size is 6”x4” and includes up to 60 characters (charge per letter if over 60) A 7”x5” plaque is available for 2 names in place of 2 single plaques. A sample layout will be provided for approval before the order is confirmed On the day please ensure all your party know to meet at the office

Refreshments if ordered will be served in the robe room

Car parking is available in the gardens but if you are expecting a large party let us know so that we can open the large car park opposite

A member of staff will be available to carry the casket to the garden, lower in to position and replace the cover. We then depart and give the family privacy.

Should a family member wish to, they may carry/place the casket; please let us know if you wish to do this

Fresh cut flowers are permitted only in the green vases provided, one or two per garden. No decorated vases, glass jars, containers, baskets, pot plants, artificial flowers, ornaments, balloons, pictures etc., can be left at any time and items that impede maintenance or aesthetic appearance of the garden will be removed once a month without prior notice
