Round B Vision for 2015 – Research Partnerships 3 Teams

It is now October 8, 2015, and the Research Agenda for Nursing Certification and Competency has been wildly successful. One of the keys to the success of the Research Agenda was the successful implementation of Research Partnerships.

Your assignment as a team is to explain the Research Partnership models and what made them so successful. Use the following questions to stimulate your discussion:  What were the Research Partnership models that enabled us to be so successful?  Describe the structure of the Research Partnerships (the different partnership models). What were the different roles played by the various partners?  Describe how communication and decision-making happened in these Research Partnership models.  How were funds managed in these Research Partnership models?  Describe the key factors that made these models of Research Partnerships successful.  What were the obstacles we overcame relative to partnerships to enable our success?

You will have 60 minutes to complete your work. Use the marker boards in your breakout to build the model(s) that you choose to explain. Use colors, shapes, diagrams and text to explain your model(s). You will share your work with other participants at the end of the 60 minutes. What were the different roles necessary?  Describe how communication and decision-making happened in each Funding Model.  How were funds recruited, managed and distributed?  Describe the key factors that made each Funding Model successful.  What were the obstacles we overcame relative to funding to enable our success?

Who were the key stakeholders we communicated to? What were the different roles necessary for the program to be effective, and who played those roles?  Describe how communication and decision-making happened in this Marketing & Communication program.  How was this Marketing and Communications program funded?  Describe the key factors that made this Marketing & Communications program successful.  What were the obstacles we overcame relative to marketing and communication to enable our success?

Your assignment as a team is to build a timeline of the major milestones and achievements from 2009-2015 for the Global Research Agenda on Nursing Certification. Use the following questions to stimulate your discussion:  Identify the major achievements and milestones for the overall research agenda. What did we achieve? What were we able to show? What data do we have? And when did these things happen? What happened and when did it happen? Map out the milestones as best you can – and extrapolate where you don’t know.  Identify the critical achievements in the first 18 months of this Research Agenda that made the long-term success of the program possible.
