Hints for Running Nevco Scoreclock

ALL STAR SCOREKEEPERS HINTS FOR RUNNING NEVCO SCORECLOCK

The majority of score clocks in the Calgary arenas are made by Nevco Corporation.

Here are some quick notes for those of you who are new are working these clocks. Note: when < > these symbols are used the number/word within the symbol is what should be entered on the score clock.

At the beginning of the game: - Turn on the machine. A switch is located on the bottom of the right side of the machine. - The machine will ask “start where last turned off?” Press the key. - The machine will ask “do you want to use an auto start program?” Press the key. - The machine will ask “please enter your model code number”. This number can be found on the front panel but is usually 008-3261. Enter <0> <0> <8> <3> <2> <6> <1> - The machine will ask “do you want to use shot clock?” Press the key. - The machine will ask “do you want to use penalty time out?” Press the key. - To set a 15 minute period length press

To run score clock: There are two ways to run a score clock: a) an on/off switch that is located at the top left of the machine b) Handheld toggle switch.

To set home score: - Press <1> (for first goal, 2 for second goal, etc) - To set guest score do the same but enter where required.

To set home penalty of two minutes for player number 8: - Press <2><:><0><0> - Machine will ask for player number. Player numbers are required to be a TWO digit number so number 8 would be entered as <0> <8>. - To set guest penalty do the same as above but enter where required.

To delete home penalty: - Press - To delete guest penalty do the same as above but enter where required.
