Maddy Barnes is an experienced teacher and Assistant Head in a school in Salford and is an SLE in the North West. She is an English SATs Marker and is a moderator for the level 6 English tests. She is a fully qualified STA moderator for KS1 and 2. Maddy is a published author and has written the Skills Builders Grammar and Punctuation series for Rising Stars. Maddy is currently working with the DFE to support the writing of the new reading and spoken language curriculum in addition to the KS1 SPAG test for 2016. Maddy has worked with the St Helens TSA during 2013-14 providing high quality training for teaching and non- teaching staff.
