Shoreline Cleanup – Jobin Mojtabavi  3rd year Vancouver has participated  Large scale event, held across Canada  Saturday September 26th, 10 am – 12 pm – about 1 ½ to 2 hours  Wear closed-toe shoes, preferably boots  For more info, visit tdgcsc.ca, or contact Jobin Mojtabavi ( [email protected] or 604- 682-8112) 4. New treasurer – Laina Saccone  New Assistant secretary needed – Ali Jamal will think about this position 5. Rotary Business  Saturday Oct 10th – A day in the life of Rotary o Email up to 3 of clubs best photos to [email protected] o Selection of photos will be published in upcoming issue  Polio eradication project – since 1988. 99.8% completed o Polio eradication day – October 24th . Our club should do something that day – eg. raise funds. . Suggestion: have a 50/50 or raffle to raise funds at fellowship that week 7.
