Expressions of Interest (EOI) should be submitted electronically and provide: 1. A profile of your organisation. 2. Description of your organisation’s activities to date (track record). 3. The proposed project activities.

1. Profile of your Organisation Do not use acronyms. In case there is more than one CBO applying under one application as an alliance or consortium, only include the name of the organisation that will be responsible for programme management and contractual obligations (the “lead organisation”). There will be an opportunity to list names of co-applicants later.

b) Briefly describe your organisation's programme(s) content so far, giving an impression of the activities and including at least the following elements:  What was your role?  What were the objectives?  Describe the main activities, the target group(s) and the results?  Which other organisations were involved (government, non-government, partners etc)?

3. The proposed project activities

a) Describe the activities your organisation will carry out with the grant (maximum 400 words) 1. What is the SRHR related issue your organisation will address with the grant? 2. What is your innovative idea to address this issue? 3. What makes your CBO the best organisation to implement this idea? 4. What are the expected results?

b) What is your budget for implementing the idea (including an indication of break down per element using the budget template from the website)?

Submission Instructions ● This EOI will stay open until 11 March 2015. EIO must be submitted electronically by email to:[email protected] ● Please write Attention: EOI #01-RAHU-SRHR-001 in subject line. ● No responses will be accepted after the submission deadline. EOIs that are incomplete, or do not follow RAHU SRHR Youth Fund instructions in the guidelines, will be regarded as non-responsive to the solicitation. EOIs submitted in response to this call will become the property of the RAHU SRHR Youth Fund and will not be returned.

Review Process ● Each EOI will be thoroughly reviewed and only applications that are complete and meet the requirements listed above will be recommended for technical review. ● The technical review will result in a shortlist of applicants that will be invited for an interview in Kampala. ● The team at RAHU SRHR Youth Fund will provide guidance for developing the full proposals at a workshop in Kampala conducted by Double Loop. ● Being shortlisted will not in any way guarantee award of the proposal or of the total proposed budget.

Further Notes: ● These instructions are provided for general information for the preparation of Expressions of Interest and are not part of the documents comprising the proposal or the contract, and are not to be interpreted so as to change any contract provision, condition or specification. ● The RAHU SRHR Youth Fund will not be liable for any costs incurred in preparation of its response. ● The RAHU SRHR Youth Fund reserves the right not to consider parties who are deemed to be in a conflict of interest, either in regard of the mandate of the Fund, or by way of their association with parties or processes prejudicial to Reach A Hand, Uganda, Double Loop or CORDAID, the project funder.
