Theme Scripture: Phil. 2:3-4. Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. 5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Greetings to our HNE Grayson Family and Friends. Can you believe that we are about to embark on our 7th corporate fast? Are you ready to give your complete commitment and are you ready to receive a blessing and not just a change in your life, but a changed life? Every year as we prepare for the fast, we get excited knowing what fasting and prayer has done in our life and year after year we get a chance to see how it has impacted your life. What a blessing to see the hand of God at work in the lives of believers, through a simple sacrifice of praying and fasting. We don’t know why, God will reveal it, but there is an added excitement and an added expectation going into this fast. Get ready to ask of God and get ready to give to God what you have never asked or done before. This year is a year of “I Want and I Will”. Oh, I want so much more and I am willing to give so much more. At the end of this fast, you will understand the power of sowing and reaping. In order to reap, you have

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 4 to plant something in the ground and we are going to water it with our prayers. Are you ready? Stay committed on this fast and invite others to join us on this journey to giving God the first fruit of this year, the first fruit of our commitment and the first fruit of our heart to the Lord. When you fast, things will break off of you that you did not even realize had attached to you. When you fast, you lose physical weight and you gain spiritual weight. When you fast and pray, you also lose strongholds and doubts and fears. Fasting not only cleanses you physically, but it cleanses you mentally and fills you spiritually. During this fast, we will preach a series of messages inspired by the Holy Spirit to aid in your spiritual cleansing. Pastor Gerard started the series out with a message entitled “Fresh New Start”. We are going to leave some things in 2016. The series for the remaining Sundays in January are: ‘Healed from being Fatherless’, ‘Healed in Your Finances’, ‘Healed in Your Heart’ and the final message at the end of our fast is ‘Sealed, Healed and Filled’. Thank you again North East Family and friends for joining us this 7th corporate fast as a church body. We are ready!!! Get on your mark, get set and fast. We love you. Pastor Gerard Blanding, Sr. and Pastor Veta Blanding

Let’s pray this opening prayer together: Father in the name of Jesus, We begin this fast with the mindset to be victorious. This fast in my life will be like a fresh wind, rejuvenation, an infusion of your power. God I am anticipating a change in my life. God, we are setting aside this time as a corporate body not out of tradition, but God we are thirsty and we are longing after you to fill us up again. My tank is low, refuel me with your holy presence. Thank you that for 21 consistent days, out of 365 days in a year, we will set aside a time that will bless me and those that I come in contact with. We will not quit, we will not be discouraged and we will come out of this fast better than we were before. Let us hear from you. God give us fresh revelation and knowledge. Let us fall even deeper in love with you and commit fully to you and serving you. We are seeking you more than we are seeking things. We stand on your word and your promise to seek you first and we are already thanking you for what you will add to our lives. I want you God and I will seek you. God, we are grateful for your son Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and getting up with all power; and because of this love, we are free and you have given us the ability to do greater works.

I open my heart and my mind to your will and your way. Cleanse me, purge me, fill me and keep me during the days to come. We are aware that the enemy will come against us because we have committed to you, but thank you that we are covered by the blood and protected by angels.

I commit to you in prayer and we love you. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

We love you. Pastors Blanding

Facts: Muslims are required to pray 5 times per day. Orthodox Jews pray 3 times a day. Hindus worship 3 times a day. Christians join in prayer how many times a day? Prayer and Fasting - A Definition Prayer and fasting is defined as voluntarily going without food in order to focus on prayer and fellowship with God. Prayer and fasting often go hand in hand, but this is not always the case. You can pray without fasting, and fast without prayer. It is when these two activities are combined and dedicated to God's glory that they reach their full effectiveness. Having a dedicated time of prayer and fasting is not a way of manipulating God into doing what you desire. Rather, it is simply forcing yourself to focus and rely on God for the

Quite simply- refraining from food for a spiritual purpose. Purpose of Fasting Far too often, though, the focus of prayer and fasting is on abstaining from food. Instead, the purpose of Christian fasting should be to take our eyes off the things of this world and focus our thoughts on God. Fasting should always be limited to a set time. Fasting is not a method of punishing our bodies and it is not to be used as a "dieting method" either. We are not to spend time in prayer and fasting in order to lose weight, but rather to gain a deeper fellowship with God. By taking our eyes off the things of this world through prayer and biblical fasting, we can focus better on Christ. Matthew 6:16-18 declares, "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." (allaboutprayer.org) Benefits of Fasting Third John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. This is a God concept, a desire of God for each of us. Fasting is a valued spiritual practice that weighs in on many physical and

During the fast each believer should engage with an attitude of seriousness and expectancy. The blessings of fasting are far reaching. During this time of fasting and prayer let us together expect God to fulfill any and all promises necessary to bring about abundant life within our bodies, homes, relationships, communities and our church.

Fasting promotes healthy skin, hair, internal function of vital organs; fasting acts also as a cleansing agent and fasting does induce weight loss.

Spiritual Benefits of fasting

Fasting promotes the fruits of the spirit such as the fruit of self-control. Fasting promotes intimacy with the God-Head. Fasting promotes structured prayer and meditation time; as well as intentional scriptural study time.

IS EVERYONE AROUND YOU BORN AGAIN? Are You?

First of all, we want to be sure that you are born again and everyone in your household. Please use the guideline below for repentance and for leading others to Christ.

A= Admit. Admit you are sinner – Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Make sure that the person admits that they are a sinner.)

B= Believe. Believe in Jesus Christ – John 3:18 – He believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (Make sure that the person admits that they believe in Jesus Christ.)

C= Confess. Confess that Jesus is Lord- Romans 10:8-10 – For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Make sure that the person confesses out loud that Jesus is Lord and asks Jesus to come into their heart.)

Sample Salvation Prayer. Please pray this prayer with the person that you are leading to Christ. If it is you, please pray this prayer.

"Dear Heavenly Father, I realize that Jesus is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life; and is the only Mediator between You and man. I acknowledge to you that I am a sinner. I believe

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 21 that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross, died for my sins, and rose again on the third day. I am truly sorry for the deeds which I have committed against You, and I repent , please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I truly desire to serve You, Lord Jesus starting now. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. With my heart, I believe that God the Father raised His Son Jesus from the dead. This very moment I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior and according to His Word, I am born again. Thank You, Jesus, for coming into my heart. Amen. If you prayed that prayer sincerely, you are born again.

If you prayed that prayer or led someone to Christ, please let us know at ([email protected]).

Already Born Again?

If you are already born again, we still must confess our sins daily. Pray for the sins that we knowingly commit and those that we are unaware of (omission and commission). KEEP YOUR HEART CLEAN AND LIGHT! Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to bubble out of you-until you overflow.

There are many ways to fast. The key is to spend the meal time in prayer. Don’t use the fast to work additional hours or get things done. The time and energy should be focused on seeking His face. This first day will probably be your most physically challenging day. You are denying yourself food to not only cleanse yourself physically but spiritually. PRAY without ceasing. Ask God to give you the ability to focus in on Him. Have prayer calls and prayer sessions. Read your word and stay in it.

1. Please use the list that we made for corporate prayer to help you pray for the needs of HNE and all churches. Read and meditate on Isaiah 58:1–12. This is one of the most expansive teachings on fasting in the Word. As you read the passage please notate why we fast: ______Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 28 ______What were the reasons the Jews fasted that the Lord did not approve of? ______

Day 2 Tuesday, Jan 10, 2107 Read Chapter 2 “I Will”

You made it to day two–give yourself a hand! Whatever you do, don’t give up. That is exactly what the enemy wants you to do. The devil will stop at nothing to keep you from accomplishing your goal, from being empowered and entering the very presence of God. Now is the time to press in, keep going, keep praying, keep pushing, and keep believing God will meet with you.

Remember our theme for the year is I Want and I Will . This theme is found all through the Word. It is a principle you can’t get around. “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked for a man will reap what he sows… ”this is the very Word of God. This principle is not broken.

What do you want? Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 29 ______

As you meditate on the list of what you would like to reap, ask the Lord what you need to do in order to receive what you desire. What a man sows, so shall he reap. ______

We are all running now. By this time God has started to give you some thoughts you haven’t had before. I know He is speaking to you because we are all asking Him to, and He promised to answer our prayers. In order to grow, you must hear from the Lord and adhere to His voice. One of the things the Lord is speaking and that is: it is time to work and it is time to get to work. This 21-day fast is part of the spiritual journey the Lord has you on. We are fasting and praying early in the year asking for a huge hundredfold harvest.

Part of our sowing is in corporate worship of God. The word corporate mean a united group joined for a greater good. We serve the Lord of the harvest, and He controls the harvest, but you control the seed you are sowing that will make or break 2017 for you.

Worship releases the Spirit of God in your life personally and in our church corporately.

This marks the day that Dr. Martin Luther King was born. God used Him for His glory and for those that were oppressed to be freed from the shackles of racism and segregation and hate. He was like a Moses but he did not do it in His strength nor for His glory, but for the glory of God. Ask God how he would like to use you on this earth and ask Him to show you His purpose for your life. Remember Jesus Christ died on the cross for our freedom.

It’s the last day of week one, and this is the Lord’s Day—a great day to rest and to seek His heart and face. If you worship on Sunday, get ready to give Him a great offering—a sacrifice of praise and worship worthy of the God we bow to.

Today, our devotional thought is heavenly wisdom. Here we all are—trapped in this physical, cursed, demon-filled world. We know that we “see through a dim mirror” into the spiritual world. We desperately need heavenly wisdom. If we are to sow the right things so that we reap all God has for us, we need His wisdom. He clarifies it in James 3. Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

Day 8 Monday, Jan 16, 2017 Read Chapter 8 “I Will”

Well, you made it through an entire week. Congratulations! Remember the corporate prayer list. This fast is designed for us to seek the Lord together—to sow to the Spirit, and reap a great revival. Are you ready for a fresh wind in your life and in the life of our church? When we come into agreement in prayer and fasting He will do just that. Please read Ezekiel 37 and watch God apply this to our church family! Today is another day for which to thank the Lord. “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Have Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 41 you noticed that most people are negative, have a poor outlook, and look for the worst to happen? How’s your attitude today? In Philippians 2 we are told to, “have the same attitude in us that was in Christ Jesus…” He had a great attitude. We don’t “just” have a great attitude. It requires sowing the right things into our hearts and minds. Sadly, many Saints are not careful what they allow into their thinking. Kick the devil out of your thoughts! It is impossible to walk in faith, believe the best, and pray for a great harvest when you have a negative outlook. A poor outlook is from this world, not from heaven. I love what Nehemiah said in 8:10: “Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Where does your strength come from? Do you walk in the joy of the Lord? ______

How would you rate your outlook and attitude? How would your family rate your attitude? ______

What would have to happen for you to walk in the joy of the Lord? ______

Do you really believe it is God’s will for you to walk in joy and victory?

Day 9 Tuesday, Jan 17, 2017 Read Chapter 9 “I Will”

You are almost half way there! Stick with plan. Make sure you make adjustments because your diet has changed and your energy level will change as well. Please commit to reading the bible daily and get on the 1 year plan to read the bible in a year. You are not alone, as thousands are reading and praying with you.

We will keep reminding you that if you want – you must do something to receive. We must sow if we are to reap revival and everything God wants for us. But too many people sow to the flesh and expect to reap the Holy Spirit. It doesn’t work that way.

Paul warns us about this in Galatians 5:16–21: “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may not do the things that you please. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the Law. Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality,

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 43 impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

As we fire into 2017, we must choose to sow to the Spirit.

Do you want to walk in the Spirit? Look at the partial list of the deeds of the flesh. Do you see yourself in the list? Be honest: ______

Would you agree that you have sown things in the flesh? Ask the Lord to remove these things and ask Him how to sow seeds of the Spirit.

Spend a few minutes and give up–offer up total surrender and submission to the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to fill you and control every aspect of your life. If He reveals other issues, repent and continue to offer up yourself as a living sacrifice to Him.

The key to the victorious life is totally surrendering to the Lordship of Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to have His way completely in you.

Praying for a major breakthrough for you.

Many of the questions people ask me have something to do with the will of God for their lives. “Should I marry this person, take this job, move to another state?” The list is long. That’s why we should pray the Scripture. Praying the Word is praying and knowing the will of God. For the next few days, let’s spend some time in some of the biblical prayers. When you pray a biblical prayer, you know this is the will of God for you. In Ephesians 1:14–21 we find one such prayer: “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within

Amen.” You could spend days in this powerful paragraph. The depth of this spiritual well has no bottom.

Think through all the things in this prayer that are prayed for you. Which of these things do you need to put into your spirit? ______Spend a few minutes thanking the Lord for moving in this area, for this is without a doubt His will for our lives. Lord, please open our eyes to the wealth that is ours in your name. Forgive us for living like paupers when we have the wealth of heaven being poured out on us. He is all powerful and we rely fully and completely on Him. No matter who is and has been the president of the U.S., God has always been in control of our lives (the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof and they that dwell there in). We would like to thank

Again a reminder that during your fast make it personal but also pray for your church and the needs of others. Please know that we love you and we are praying that this experience will be like none other. Read the scripture before and discover the will of God for you.

Ephesians 3:14–21: “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.

God said in Psalm 21 the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water, He turns it wherever He wishes. Let us trust the hand of God.

The weekend is here, and you’re almost done with the second week. The weekend gives some of you more time to spend seeking, chasing, and pursuing the Lord with all you are. I hope the Lord is speaking to you through these biblical prayers. Let’s meditate on another one:

Philippians 1:8–11: “For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus. And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. “

Reread the prayer and where it uses “you” or “your,” put your name in place of those words. This prayer is for you. The Holy Spirit inspired Paul to pen this prayer almost 2,000 years ago. The Holy Spirit had you in mind when these words were uttered.

The work week is over for many, and it’s time to rest and disconnect! But don’t disconnect from God. The weekend is the time to press in harder. You have more time for worship. Never forget we are a spiritual family. That is very important to the Lord and as such, should be to us. Jesus died for our gathering.

All of us that “know” the Apostle Paul love him. Let me show you at least one of the reasons God used him and will use you and us.

Philippians 3:10–15: “…that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His

Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you.” Pray these verses. I want it!

Day 14 Sunday¸ Jan. 22, 2017 Read Ch. 4 “I Am a Church Member”

It’s Sunday, and you have completed two weeks of the fasting and prayer. We look at the Sabbath as the end of the week. In the Jewish calendar they saw the Sabbath as the first day of the week. God set it up so the Jews would begin their week with worship and thus set the tone for the week to come. It is a great thought.

Today, many of you are going to gather for our God. Some of you have already gathered and enjoyed the corporate worship with your spiritual family. Please pray for the others that will worship with us today. I encourage you to make it a habit of praying for our corporate gathering. Pray for the power of God to be present. Pray for people to be saved, challenged, transformed, and fall in love with God. Your participation in this journey is proof of your love for Him. 2017–time to sow and reap! We still have more than 11 months left. Sow, sow, and sow some more so He can give us a hundredfold harvest in the Spirit.

Let’s look at another prayer for you that is the revealed will of God for you.

Colossians 1:9–12: “For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to

All of that is God’s revealed will for you!

The other biblical prayers we have prayed are to people Paul knew, but he had never been to Colossae. How cool is that?

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 54 Today we begin our last week. Are you okay? Are you feeling empowered? Remember to write in your journal and be ready to share the wonderful things God is doing and speaking in your life. God is moving in a major way in our body because you are pressing in, praying, and not giving up. Remember what Paul said yesterday? “I do not cease to pray for you.” As Pastors, we can say the same thing. We do not cease to pray for you, and I ask you to do the same for us and for our HNE Family.

At the beginning of our journey together I gave you a list to pray over—things we are asking a hundredfold harvest from the Lord.

I used a verse few know. It is 3 John 2: “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.”

Is this a biblical prayer? ______

Do you think it is the will of God for you? ____

In how many aspects of your life does the Lord want you to prosper? ______

List all the areas of your life in which you are prospering: ______

Now spend a few minutes thanking the Lord for how He is already moving in your life. ______

In what areas do you need the Lord to prosper you? ______

Is your soul prospering? John assumes it is. What do you need to sow so you reap a prosperous soul? ______

In the sowing and reaping process, sowing ALWAYS comes first. Are you sowing? ______

Lord, please speak to each of us where we desperately need to shift the seed we are sowing!

Day 16 Tuesday¸Jan. 24, 2017 Read Ch. 6 “I Am a Church Member”

We are coming close to the end of our three week journey together. I pray that the Lord is speaking to you. I pray that you will never be the same and your harvest–our harvest–will change and multiply a hundredfold just as Isaac’s did. Jesus is the Lord of the harvest. HE CAN!

2 Corinthians 5:9–11: “Therefore we also have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men…”

Here we are all warned! When you enter into a , you gain spiritual strength, don’t lose it. Stop gossiping, don’t go back to sowing dissension. Love harder and hold onto those things that Christ has given to you.

Look at what John says in 2 John 1:8: “Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.”

How do you think you can, “watch yourselves?” ______Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 57 ______

What do you think you could lose? ______

Do you think you will receive rewards when you get to heaven? ______

What do you need to sow so you receive rewards at the judgment seat? ______

Get planting! Remember what you want should line up with His will.

Day 17 Wed, Jan 25, 2017 Read the Bible in a Year-tab on website

This is a necessary topic during our fast. We need more of God’s people doing the work of God so that we can produce more of God’s people. Does God expect every part of His Body, the church, to do their part? Of course He does!

In the 1800’s, an Italian mathematician and philosopher named Pareto gave a postulation called the 80/20 principle. That is, 20% of the people do 80% of the ministry, give 80% of the money, and produce 80% of the results. This is not the will of God!

Ephesians 4:14–16: “As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.” “Each part” means each of us. God has given HNE a vision, and we cannot be faithful to His calling and direction when a large part of the body just attends and does nothing else. Thank God for you and all you do for

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 59 His church! In Romans 12 and in 1 Corinthians 12, gifts are listed and each part of the body is commanded to do its part. 20% or less can’t carry the rest. Please pray we accomplish ALL the Lord’s desires for HNE! When you attend church, look to your left and right and ask God, how can I help others to serve You?

Please agree with me in prayer for a spirit of generosity and obedience in our body in the area of giving to our Lord. If the entire church tithed, we would quickly be out of debt and will be able to give more and do more and reach more.

Are you doing your part? What would HNE be like if every attendee was just like you?

Day 18 Thursday, Jan 26, 2017 Read the Bible in a Year-tab on website

Part of our journey and prayer time and fasting is an act of war with hell and the demonic forces that are at war with us. They are at war with you and your family, and our church.

We must keep on our frontal lobe that we are “overcomers,” we are victorious, and that God has given us the weapons we need to fight from victory and for victory. 2 Corinthians 10:3–5: “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 60 our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,.”

I love this passage, for in it we are encouraged and informed of our weapons. They are not the weapons of the world.

What does Paul say about our weapons?

______

What can your weapons do?

______

Is there an area of your life in which you need deliverance? ______

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 61 ______

The only people that will not experience deliverance are those who refuse to believe He can deliver them.

Since the real battlefield is the mind, is there an area of your thinking in which you need to take some thoughts captive? ______

Confess it to God, and ask, believing you will harvest a great victory! Praying for a hundredfold harvest of the Spirit in your mind and heart.

Day 19 Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 Read the Bible in a Year- tab on website

We are coming down the stretch, and the 21 days are almost over. Stay focused and in tune. Don’t worry about what you will eat or drink, but stay focused on the Lord.

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 62 Yesterday we talked about spiritual warfare. Many dismiss it to their own peril or to the peril of those they love.

In Ephesians 6:10–19 Paul lists for us the “Spiritual Armor” we need to wear on a daily basis:

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf…”

List all of the weapons we have: ______

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 63 ______

Did you list praying in the Spirit? It is a weapon of divine power.

Do you sense any areas in your life or our church where the enemy is attacking? Please intercede now, and ask the Lord for the victory.

What would HNE be like if every attendee that is saved wore their weapons daily? Pray for a harvest of great spiritual victory in 2017.

I want it in 2017.

Remember that you are “more than an over-comer.”

Day 20 Friday, Jan. 28, 2017 Read the Bible in a Year- tab on website

We are feeling more spiritual momentum now than ever before due to the fasting and prayer of all the saints together. Tomorrow is the last day of the fast. You have done well! I pray this journey has created a hunger and thirst in you that

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 64 can only be quenched by the power and presence of our Holy God.

If we are going to continue to reap God’s harvest, then He must become first for all of us. In the last book of the Old Testament, the Prophet Malachi brings a stinging rebuke to the nation of Israel because they gave God their leftovers!

Malachi 1: 6–10: ‘A son honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is My respect?’ says the Lord of hosts to you, O priests who despise My name. But you say, ‘How have we despised Your name?’ You are presenting defiled food upon My altar. But you say, ‘How have we defiled You?’ In that you say, ‘The table of the Lord is to be despised.’ But when you present the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? And when you present the lame and sick, is it not evil? Why not offer it to your governor? Would he be pleased with you? Or would he receive you kindly?” says the Lord of hosts. ”But now will you not entreat God’s favor, that He may be gracious to us? With such an offering on your part, will He receive any of you kindly?” says the Lord of hosts. ”Oh that there were one among you who would shut the gates, that you might not uselessly kindle fire on My altar! I am not pleased with you…”

Why was God displeased with them? ______Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 65 ______

Do you give the Lord your best? ______

Is God worthy of our best offering? Does God deserve honor and respect? ______

In what ways do you need to place this into your everyday life? ______

At HNE, let’s give the Lord all He is due in extravagant praise and worship. Our reasonable service of worship is to give our lives every day as a living sacrifice. It is almost the last day of the fast but our complete commitment to Him has just begun. Give God more!

Day 21 Sunday, January 29, 2017 *Worship*

It’s the last day of the 21 days, and I know you are excited. If you kept up all three weeks, you are to be commended, congratulations. We are grateful for your time with the Lord. It truly makes a difference for our whole church body. Others

Hopewell North East Grayson, GA Annual Fast and Prayer Schedule “I Want and I Will” Jan. 8th –Jan. 29th 2017 2685 Camp Mitchell Road #808 Grayson, GA 30017 hopewellnortheast.org 66 will reap because of what you have sown in the Spirit. Revelation 5:8: “When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” Did you know God keeps every prayer you pray? It may be days or years from now but God will remember the prayer that you prayed. We are still reaping the benefit of not just our prayers but prayers that the righteous prayed for us.

Your prayers are more important to God and to HNE than most realize. You make a huge difference! Our bountiful harvest this year and the years to come will be partly because of you.

Why don’t you pray this prayer over yourself as we pray for you: God, I ask you to move in power and favor in my life. Fill me with your presence and your anointing. Open my eyes to your power and potential in my life . Reveal any lie of the enemy that has found its way into my heart. Let this be a fresh start for the rest of my life. Please forgive me if I believed what the devil has told me over what you have promised me. God, I ask for a fresh baptism of your love, presence, and Holy Spirit. I pray you will remove any spiritual blinders the enemy has put on me so that I can see you more clearly, nearly, and dearly. Let this 21-day journey be just the beginning of the spiritual breakthroughs I will have. I ask for a holy hunger to find its way into my heart and mind. I ask for a

I pray this year will be a great harvest and will build my faith for the many blessings you have in store for me. Allow me to bounce back from disappointments and propelled me into a greater faith in you. Mighty God, reveal Yourself, and show me I am more than a conqueror and an overcomer. The enemy is defeated, strongholds are broken, and Ezekiel 37—the Breath of God—is being blown on me and through me. I know you will use me to a greater level than they I ever dreamed possible. I believe Ephesians 3:20 , that “You will do exceeding and abundantly more than I can think or ask.” Your plans for HNE are beyond what we have imagined, and I will help lead the charge. Teach me to number my days so I can present to you a heart of wisdom–heavenly wisdom this world knows nothing about and understanding. Keep us on our faces and after your heart. In Jesus’ name I pray, totally and completely believing you are answering already—answering all of our heart’s desires. I will continue to walk in His power and anointing this day, and every day, until He comes back for us.

We Love You. Pastors Blanding
