KENTUCKY INDUSTRY

LIAISON GROUP

Please join the Kentucky Industry Liaison Group on Friday, March 10th as we discuss:

I Have to Conduct an Investigation… Now What? Knowing where to begin and what to do can be a daunting task when you are confronted with an issue that requires an investigation. Conducting a thorough investigation is more than asking who, what, when, where, how and why. Interviewing a variety of people with different personalities, educational levels and in various positions within the company also presents some interesting, and sometimes humorous issues. Join Lynn Ingmire, Jennifer Wheatley, Laurie Kemp and Toni Ahl, with over a century of experience in conducting interviews and investigations between them, as they provide practical tips for interviewing and conducting an actual investigation. You will also have an opportunity to address the panelists with those burning questions you’ve had, but were afraid to ask.

Alternative Dispute Resolution: It’s More than Mediation When we hear the words “alternative dispute resolution”, many of us think of mediation. While mediation is the primary method of alternative dispute resolution used by most employers in non-union settings, there are other forms as well. Tom Williams, a member of the law firm of Stoll Keenon Ogden, will explore some of the other methods for disputes to be resolved as well as discuss restorative justice practices.
