The Accelerated BS program has a competitive admissions process. Applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree in any field, and must have also completed the following courses satisfactorily:  General Chemistry or Organic Biochemistry or General Chemistry II (4 credits with lab)  Anatomy and Physiology I & II (8 credits with labs)  Microbiology (4 credits with lab)  Statistics (3 credits)  Human Growth and Development (3 credits)  Nutrition (3 credits)  Genetics (3 credits, no lab required)  Introduction to Psychology (3 credits)  Introduction to Sociology (3 credits)  Biomedical Ethics (3 credits)

In addition to the above mentioned requirements, applicants must complete an Admission Application at http://admissions.rutgers.edu.

International students must submit transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to the Admissions Office. All records must be original documents or certified true copies. Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by a translation verified by and approved member of NACES (http://www.naces.org/). Students whose secondary schooling has been completed outside the US in a country where English is not the principal language are also required to take an English Proficiency Examination (TOEFL). The scores must be submitted to the Admissions Office.

Please Note: courses must be equivalent to courses offered in Rutgers-Camden and must transfer in with appropriate credits. If the courses are not listed on www.njtransfer.org, please send a syllabus to be evaluated to [email protected]. Do not assume that all Genetics, Nutrition, Growth and Development, etc., courses transfer into Rutgers at the appropriate level.
