 All matches shall be played under the Laws and International Regulations of Table Tennis as adopted by the ITTF and TTNZ. Access the Laws at: http://www.ittf.com/ittf_handbook/ittf_hb.html  Eligibility for age-group events is determined by age as at 31st December 2016 for all Under age events. Age at 31st December 2017 for all Over age events. Proof of age may be required.  Both players in any doubles pairing must submit separate individual entries for the same doubles event. It would be appreciated if partners wear matching, or similar, shirts.  Any event with less than 4 singles entries or 3 doubles pairs may be cancelled at the discretion of the association. Players so affected will be entered in the next eligible age category if they are not already in that category.  The right is reserved to make alterations to any draw.  Singles play shall be 4 player Round Robin groups (2 qualify for main draw). All matches shall be best of 5 advantage games to 11. Post Round Robin draws will be 3 graded events A B and C - placement in draws according to finishing order in each group. Doubles competition is knock out.  Seeding will be in accordance with the latest TTNZ ratings list, but the Tournament Referee reserves the right to seed players of known ability who do not appear on the list.  Players not available for play according to the timetable above, or as required and notified by the Tournament Manager, are liable to be defaulted.  Players shall wear non-marking shoes. Shorts or skirt, and sports shirt which must not be WHITE. Players wishing to play in track pants must ask permission from the Referee  Players may enter ONE event on Sunday morning, ONE event on Sunday afternoon and ONE event on Monday morning only. An event comprises singles and doubles.

MATCHES  All round robin singles and doubles matches shall be best of five advantage games to 11. The main draw of the Open singles will be best of seven advantage games to 11 from the semi finals.

CLOTHING  All clothing shall comply with ITTF regulations.

DRUGS  The New Zealand Sports Drug Agency reserves the right to conduct random drug testing.

GLUEING  No glueing shall be permitted inside the stadium other than within areas designated for the purpose and with approved glues. TTC advises all players that glues containing VOCs are banned.

AUTHORITY  The Tournament Manager reserves the right to vary these conditions and to exercise control over all activities within the stadium and adjacent areas. This includes the right to default players who fail to respond when called to the table within the published or announced playing session times.  The Referee and delegated assistants reserve the right to apply and enforce the Laws and International Regulations of Table Tennis as adopted by the ITTF and TTNZ.
