BEHAVIOR CONTRACT

These are the rules of the classroom/lab. These rules will be in effect at all times.

1. I will not bring or eat any food, candy, gum, or drink into the classroom/lab.

2. I will not disrupt, nor cause disruption, in any manner in the computer/lab.

3. I will listen and follow the teacher's instruction. I will not interrupt or talk unless I have been recognized by the teacher.

4. I will not take a diskette/flash drive or other classroom items out of the classroom/lab without the approval of the teacher. Any diskette/flash drive brought into the classroom/lab must be approved by the teacher and scanned for viruses prior to being put into any classroom/lab computer.

5. I will consider the teacher's desk, materials, files, and other school properties off limits. I will not take items that are not mine; I will not destroy, vandalize, deface, or write on desks, books, or other items belonging to the school or another student.

6. I will do my assignments to the best of my ability, be helpful and respectful to the teacher and other students while in class.

7. I will do my own work and not copy from a fellow student unless there is a teacher assigned interactive activity. I will not copy or plagiarize from any other source. I understand that copying is considered cheating and that all Rockford District 205 policies regarding cheating will be enforced in the classroom/lab.

8. I will put my books and other items in the designated area(s). I will be responsible for getting my own materials and putting them away at the end of the class period. I will leave my work area neat and clean.

9. I will not leave the classroom/lab unless it is a rare emergency (to go to bathroom, nurse, locker, etc.) and teacher approval has been given.

10. I will remain in my teacher assigned seat unless instructed otherwise by my teacher. This includes not leaving my seat until the teacher dismisses me. (The passing bell does not give me permission to leave.)
