1. Are You Good at Art?

PERIOD 3 Part 1: Topic 1: Art 1. Are you good at art? I would say I am. Although I had  have never been trained before, my paintings are still relatively good and all my friends recognize that.

2. Did you learn art at school when you were a child? Yes, I did. I learnt it at primary and secondary school because it is a compulsory subject in all strate  state schools.

3. What kind of art do you like? I almost like  like almost all kinds of paintings because I think each painting are  is the effort and dedication of the artist and it's so artistic.

4. Is art popular in your country? Yes, I think so. Because you can see lost  lots of graffiti on the walls of  around the city or  and many beautiful paintings are on sale in some old apartments  stores/department stores in District 1.

5. Have you ever been to an art gallery? Yes of course, I have been to Museum Of Art located at 97 Pho Duc Chinh, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. It exhibited  They exhibits the paintings, sculptures and antiques have  of high artistic value. This is one of the largest arts centers nationwide.

6. Do you think children can benefit from going to art galleries? Yes, I think so. Because I think it will help them to have more  broaden knowledge and can be generated  arouse passion since childhood.

Topic 2: Birthday 1. Do you enjoy your birthdays? Yes, I do. I like the feeling of being everyone blessed  wished by everyone in  on my birthday, so I usually held  hold it annually.

2. Do you usually celebrate your birthday? Yes, as noted above  as I just said/mentioned, I like to enjoy my birthday.

4. Can you remember a birthday you enjoyed as a child? Yes, most of all. When I was a child, my parents often organized birthday to  for me and they invited some friends to attend. At that time, I felt very happy  I was over the moon to receive gifts, but now, I just see it as a memento rather than a toy.

5. Do most people celebrate birthdays with a party in your country? I’m not sure, but also, because the organization birthday depending  how to celebrate birthday depends on the interests and abilities of each person. And, the Vietnamese prefer a cozy atmosphere and gather together.

6. Which birthdays are considered important in your country? I think birthdays for baby are considered important in my country. Because I saw  have seen almost all babies’ birthdays are celebrated  are celebrating their birthdays, but when they grow up will likely no longer be held anymore  they won’t be like to hold birthday parties anymore.

Part 2 Topic 1: Describe a book you recently read. You should say:  what kind of book it is  what it is about  what sort of people would enjoy it  and explain why you liked it Recently I was reading  have read a book called Start-up Nation. It is the kind of economic policy, wrote about  dealing with the phenomenal growth of the Israeli economy from the time of its inception until becoming the country with the world's leading technology. This book can answer the questions of how a small country can survive the hostility between  among the neighboring countries, to  and deal with the war to hold territory and still create the outstanding innovation in the field of technology, military and civilian. I think the most interesting part of the book is through small stories, the author leads the readers to a big story about an innovative and accountability  accountable Israeli across  in all sectors. And that’s why I like this  that book.
