CAMP HELAMAN 2016 Personal Equipment Checklist

Camp runs from Tue, June 28th at Noon to Fri, July 1st at Noon (However, the ZLs & DLs arrive a day early at 9:00am on Mon. June 27th)

YM leaders are invited to join us for the Testimony meeting at the conclusion of camp on Friday, July 1st from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Bring your own camp chair as seating space at camp will barely fit the young men.

Essential Equipment o Scriptures Zone & District Leaders Only o Preach My Gospel o Cot, foam pad, or air mattress o Pen/Pencil and Notebook o MP3 Player & small speakers o Clothes: T-Shirt provided o Props for Skits Bring: pants / shorts, extra o Incentives for your shirts/undershirts, socks, Zone/District (optional) underwear for 4 days/nights o Sweatshirt & Hat (it will get cool in the evenings) Do Not Bring: o Work clothes and gloves (for o Guns, sheath knives, axes, painting or blackberry work) hatchets, or other weapons. o Tennis shoes o Fireworks. o Poncho or Raincoat o Electronic equipment and o Pillow portable gaming systems. o Sleeping Bag o I-Pods or other personal o Shave/Shower kit – listening devices. toothbrush, deodorant, etc. o Cell Phones o Shower shoes o White shirt & tie – this is a o Towel and Wash cloth casual dress camp!  o Wrist watch and Alarm clock o Personal First Aid Kit o Medication as necessary Note: per LDS activity standards: o Water Bottle Boys should be transported to camp by qualified adult drivers! If a vehicle Optional Equipment is brought to camp it will be parked in designated locations only. Vehicle o Swim suit will not be parked at camping sites o Camera and it will not be used during the Handkerchief o camp other than departure from o Musical instrument camp. o Flashlight o A Smile – You are going to love this camp! o Camp chair/stool Put your name on everything!
