passport or ID to [email protected] 4. Remarks: - Participants will receive a confirmation of their registration. - The registration fee will not be returned and postponement
of participation is not possible.
1 The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) is aimed at people who aren’t native Chinese speakers. The test has six levels according to the knowledge of the participants. The test-taker can freely choose the test version either in simplified or traditional characters.

A Level 1 240-480 hours of Chinese A1 120 min courses or a basic vocabulary of 500 words
Level 2 480-720 hours of Chinese A2 courses or a basic vocabulary of 1000 words
B Level 3 720-960 hours of Chinese B1 courses or a basic 120 min vocabulary of 2500 words
Level 4 960-1920 hours of Chinese B2 courses or a basic vocabulary of 5000 words
Level 5 1920-3840 hours of C1 C Chinese courses or a basic 120 min vocabulary of 8000 words
Level 6 More than 3840 hours of C2 Chinese courses or a basic vocabulary of 8000 words
All participants will receive a document with their test results. Those who pass the exam also receive a certificate which can serve as credential for applying for a Taiwan scholarship, applying for admission to the academic programs at colleges and universities in Taiwan, getting a job, etc.
