Grading Determination Daily Grades and Class participation 40% Tests and Projects 60% Late Work Procedure -10 points each day late
Reteach/ Retest Procedure Any student who is unsuccessful (grade below 70) on a daily or major assignment will have one reasonable opportunity to redo or retake the assignment in order to show mastery of the material. Students who participate in the retake opportunity will receive the replacement grade with a ceiling of 70. (Example 1: First grade 50, Second grade 60, student will receive 60. Example 2: First grade 50, Second grade 80, student will receive 70.) Projects (include but are not limited to) Sewing Projects (seams, darts, pleats, closures, etc) Clothing project of choice – must use a pattern Career Connections Experience

Student Absence Procedures 1 day for each day absent to turn in late work. It is the responsibility of the student to collect work missed during an absence.
