0.2 BASE PROPOSAL

A. The undersigned Bidder, having carefully examined the Procurement and Contracting Requirements, Conditions of the Contract, Drawings, Specifications, and all subsequent Addenda, as prepared by Beaty Palmer Architects and Architect's consultants, having visited the site, and being familiar with all conditions and requirements of the Work, hereby agrees to furnish all material, labor, equipment and services, including all scheduled allowances, necessary to complete the construction of the above-named project, according to the requirements of the Procurement and Contracting Documents, for the stipulated sum of:

0.3 ALLOWANCES: The Base Proposal shall include the following: 1) Provide Forty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($40,000.00) in total allowances as to provide design and construction of an 18 hole disc golf course in the northern portion of the park. The contractor is to use Houck Design (Contact: Dee Leekha-Houck: 512-426-7722) to design the course. Construction Documents of the course shall be submitted to owner/architect for review and approval prior to construction. 2) Provide Three Hundred Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($300,000.00) in total allowances for design and construction of public art.

3) Provide One Hundred Twenty Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($120,000.00) in total allowances as to provide and install wifi equipment and cabling.

1.4 ADDITIVE ALTERNATES (Refer to sheet G1.2 for alternate boundaries described below):

A. Additive alternate no. 1: 2. Base bid: No work within the alternate boundary. Provide $80,000 allowance to connect 12' walk with S New Braunfels sidewalk. 3. Alternate 01(shown on plans): Scope of work depicted within the alternate boundary. Work includes but is not limited to: demolition work, concrete walks, plazas, electrical work, lighting, masonry walls, monument signage, site furnishings, culverts, planting, trees, irrigation, tree protection fencing and grading.

1.6 PROPOSAL GUARANTEE

The undersigned Proposer agrees to execute a contract for this Work in the above amount and to furnish surety as specified within 10 days after a written Notice of Award, if offered within 90 days after receipt of proposals, and on failure to do so agrees to forfeit to Owner the attached cash, cashier's check, certified check, U.S. money order, or bid bond, as liquidated damages for such failure, in the amount constituting five percent (5%) of the greatest amount proposed above:

E. In the event Owner does not offer Notice of Award within the time limits stated above, Owner will return to the undersigned the cash, cashier's check, certified check, U.S. money order, or bid bond.

1.7 TIME OF COMPLETION
