Patrice Davies, Soprano

Patrice graduated from St. Mary of the Woods College with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. She currently works full-time at Bernstein Investments, and as a hobby also works during baseball season for the Chicago Cubs. Patrice also has sung with the DePaul University Community Chorus and select ensemble, and has run marathons for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Rome, New York and Chicago. Patrice is currently a master’s degree student at DePaul in Humanities.

Amber Bond, Mezzo-soprano

Originally from Wilmette, Amber sings in the DePaul Community Chorus and works as a staff director for the Center for Justice and Democracy in Illinois. She formerly lived in Iowa, and sang with the Des Moines Community Chorus. Amber is newly married, and recently returned from her honeymoon trip to Bali.

Rachel Loos, Mezzo-soprano

Rachel Loos is enjoying her new duties as a junior high vocal music teacher at Des Plaines, IL. She graduated from Grace College in Winona Lake, IN in 2001 with a music education degree. She is working on her graduate studies at VanderCook College of Music where she studied with Dr. Wicklund. Rachel lives in Des Plaines with her husband, Dan, and leads her worship music team at church. Some children see him Hutson & Burt My favorite things Rodgers and Hammerstein

Marjorie Klespitz, Soprano

Marjorie is currently a junior in the vocal performance department of Roosevelt University, and hails from North Aurora, Illinois. She will perform her junior recital in Ganz Hall on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006. Marjorie will also sing in Roosevelt’s Opera Scenes concert this month. Rejoice greatly from Messiah G.F. Sabina L. Lilly, Soprano

By day, Sabina L. Lilly works as a church singer and soloist at several Chicagoland churches. She was recently a featured soloist at “St. Cecilia Sing!,” a concert honoring the Patron Saint of Church Musicians, at St. Michael the Archangel Parish on the South Shore. By night, she sings jazz at various local venues and has recently appeared at Bridgeport Coffee House, The New Apartment Lounge, and Café Luciano on Rush Street. On December 12 she will be appearing at Davenport’s Piano Bar in Chicago. Sabina is currently working on a CD of original jazz-influenced material that will be available in early 2006.

ABOUT OUR WONDERFUL PIANIST: Jane Kenas is staff accompanist at Northeastern Illinois University where she received her Master of Arts degree in Vocal Pedagogy. Jane is the organist at Edgewater Presbyterian Church in Chicago and accompanies the Park Ridge Chorale. She is a former Bel Canto competition vocal finalist, and has sung with Chicago Opera Theater, DuPage Opera and toured with the Lyric Opera Center for American Artists. She has also twice toured with the USO, performing on U.S. military bases in Europe, Greenland, Iceland, and Canada.
