Laura Rhodes has helped nonprofits raise more than $10 million through grants, direct mail campaigns and special events.

She is a Certified Grant Writer who offers training, coaching and support for nonprofits that want to write their own grants. She also helps nonprofits “go beyond grants” by creating robust fundraising plans and involving everyone in the organization in the donor development process.

Laura has a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Education and works with boards to understand their governance and fundraising roles. She facilitates workshops and retreats for organizations across the country.

Prior starting her consulting business, Laura was a program officer with the American Express Foundation. She is a long-time volunteer and has been a board member, board chair, development officer and interim executive direc- tor.

Having been a grantmaker and a fundraiser – as well as a board member and a staff member – Laura has a unique perspective that she uses to help people raise more money for the causes they love.
