Capulet and Montague Family Shields
As a member of one of the two most important families in Verona, you will be creating a shield to represent you and your “family.” Use the template on the back and the information below to create the perfect shield.
The upper left and bottom right corners must be your “family’s” color- red for Capulets and blue for Montagues. (This was assigned to you in class.) The upper right and bottom left corners should be a color that represents you; choose the color based on the information below or other information you know about color. In the upper left corner, place an actual photograph of yourself and write your name below the photo. In the upper right corner, write a quote that represents you including the author/speaker. (For example: "The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them." - Mark Twain) In the bottom left corner, put a picture of the animal/symbol that best represents you. In the bottom right corner, draw a fancy, decorated letter representing your “family”- C for Capulet and M for Montague
Use the information on colors, animals, and symbols listed below to help create your shield. The animals and symbols listed below are just a few, so if you don’t find anything that fits your personality, you can do a quick search online to find additional ideas.
