Things to know and dates to remember for this season 2017: Each Manager/ Coach and team Mom must pay $5 and pass a background check.

1. You are responsible for reading, knowing and understanding all LL baseball rules and the League’s local rules and must follow them including and not limited to all your players residing within the league boundary’s.

2. ALL TEAMS are to have a team sponsor for $350. This money goes towards the field maint and operating expenses of the league NOT to the team. (This is against LL rules.)

3. Attend the work party Jan 21st from 8am-12noon and attend the MANDATORY Managers /Coaches MEETING Jan 24th for Tee Ball Min B and Min A and Jan 25th for AA-AAA- Majors and Juniors @ La Habra Community Center starting at 7pm. League ID badges picture taking will start at 6pm.

4. *Safety Clinic will be Feb 6th & CPR training on Feb 8th 7:00-9:00pm at LH COM CTR – every manager must be trained in both and we are asking team moms to also attend if possible If your card has expired you must attend both clinics.

5. Field Grooming clinic this year for all managers and coaches will be Jan 30th 6:30-7:15pm for Tee Ball thru Majors---JR’S for NEW FIELD PREP – IS MANDATORY @ 7:15-8:15pm @Esteli

6. THE MANDATORY COACHES/MANAGERS CLINIC THIS YEAR IS MONDAY JAN 23 rd from 7-9pm@LA HABRA COMMUNITY CENTER FOR ALL DIVISIONS

7. Attend along with your team mom and coach the league information meeting-Tee Ball ONLY is Feb 21st, Min A & Min B is Feb 22nd- and for AA, AAA, Major and Juniors Feb 23rd – ALL MEETINGS are starting at 6pm for League ID badges.

8. Send a representative to the scorekeeper clinic; for Min B and Min A 6:30-7 –AA- AAA –Maj & Jr’s 7-9pm is Friday Feb 24th at the La Habra Community Center. NO ID BADGES WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS MEETING.

9. Help to ensure the Team’s snack shack duty is covered 100% and communicate with your team mom about all team fundraisers and events- including participating in Angel Day.

NOTE: Gear will be passed out on Fri Feb 3rd - bring $60 check or credit card to get gear and make sure you keep your receipt—ALL Credit cards and Checks will be cashed

YOU must be above reproach and never in any conflict of interest with the rules and policies of LL and NEVER use any loud, unkind or derogatory language or actions towards any player, parent or umpire- we have a zero tolerance policy. If used, this could result in suspension from a game and or the team.

Other info: Drafts & NOTES: The AA- Draft is Wednesday Feb 2nd at 6:30pm at the LH Community Center for Managers only. The AAA and Major Division draft is Thursday Feb 4th @ 6pm at LH Community Center for Managers only Junior draft is Feb 1st @ 7:15pm. PRACTICES MAY NOT START UNTIL Feb 4th on any field. (If no rain) PICTURES ARE SAT FEB 25th @Esteli Park. Opening Ceremony is March 4th 2017
