July 2013

Greetings Titan Family,

I hope that your summer is going well and is providing your family with time for relaxation. Now that July is here we are making final preparations for the beginning of the school year. A number of families have completed the online registration process and payment during June. I would like to ask that families that have not completed the online registration process log on and complete that process in early July. The registration process also includes payment of school fees. Tinley Park High School has a number of options for you to complete the fee payment process. These options include:

1. E-Pay: Pay in full using the Electronic Registration Payments link on the school website. 2. Pay in person: Pay in full by coming to the main office during business hours. Cash, check, and credit card payments will be accepted in the main office. 3. Deferred payment: Come to Tinley Park High School to work out a deferred payment plan. You will need to make an initial payment to start this deferred agreement. Please come to the main office to start this process during the month of July. 4. Fee waiver: a. Tinley Park High School will be using the Electronic Direct Certification System provided by the State of Illinois. After July 1st, we will send letters to those families who qualify for a fee waiver/free lunch based on your participation in the TANF or SNAP program. Families that qualify under this system will not have to provide additional paperwork. b. Apply for a fee waiver based on family income. The fee waiver applications usually are made available from the State of Illinois after July 1st. Please contact the main office after July 1st if you need a fee waiver application.

By completing one of the options above, you will satisfy the payment portion of the registration process. The main office is open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. during the summer. Please remember that there will be a late fee of $50 for students registered after August 14, 2013. If families complete the registration and payment process during July only students will need to attend the packet pick-up days in August.

Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the rest of the summer.

Sincerely,

Randy Couwenhoven Associate Principal
