Travel Information

Baiona is highway connected with the three airports in Galicia: Alvedro, Lavacolla and Peinador. And all of them are close by their home city (A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo, respectively) and well connected by bus.

The best way to get Baiona is by air, via Peinador (Vigo Airport), located 25 km. from Baiona. There are frequent daily filghts between other national airports like Madrid or Barcelona. Bus, taxi and car hire services are available at the airport. Baiona does not have rail facilities itself.

By car

Another option to get Baiona is renting a car. The village is connected with Vigo by the Val Miñor Highway. As soon as you leave Vigo Airport, you must take the A-57. Once you are in the A-57, you must follow the traffic-signals. The best option to reach the Parador Conde de Gondomar is to continue up to the south of Baiona. Be careful with the roundabout (look map 2). Once you have surpassed it, you must go straight ahead. The way is well signalized but leaving the airport and entering the highway is the most difficult strech, so pay attention to these maps (click to enlarge).
