EIGHTY-ONE GRADUATES FORM LATEST CLASS IN PGA PROFESSIONAL GOLF MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Eighty-one graduates, representing 36 states, comprised the most recent class to advance through the PGA Professional Golf Management Program. The graduates were honored in ceremonies conducted Feb. 12, at the PGA Education Center in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

The PGA Professional Golf Management Program, which originated in 1996, has produced 8,000 graduates. Of that total, the PGA Education Center in Port St. Lucie has produced graduates since 2002 representing 48 states, Canada, The District of Columbia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Spain, The Netherlands and the Virgin Islands.

The newest graduation class includes Ambry LaRosa of Yonkers, N.Y., the daughter of PGA of America Secretary Ted Bishop of Franklin, Ind. LaRosa, who turns 28 on Feb. 23, is an assistant professional at St. Andrews Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y., and is in her sixth season as women’s golf coach at St. John’s University.
