Experience Summary

Work at GTRI has focused on providing Science and Technology support to the Joint Systems Integration Command, Suffolk, VA. Recent efforts include systems dynamics modeling of portfolio management processes, and the assessment of model-driven decision support systems. Has extensive management experience leading teams in the development and testing of state of the art management information and control systems and in the operational testing of Navy command and control (C2) and electronic warfare (EW) systems. Active in professional organizations emphasizing software quality assurance, software development process improvement, and software testing. Has lectured in software development processes, testing, quality assurance, and the testing of random number generators (RNG) for use in Monte Carlo simulations. Has extensive experience in Navy wargames and wargaming at both the tactical and strategic levels.

Current Fields of Interest

The assessment of model-driven decision support systems for field commanders; the modeling and simulation of full-spectrum conflict; software assurance (SwA); data visualization within the Global Information Grid (GIG), and human-GIG-interaction; high-confidence software and systems (HCSS); software engineering practices; software quality assurance; software development processes and process improvement.
