VIC / SA / TAS Direct Sales Manager Role

The objective of this role is to promote sales of our , , and Rugby League branded products in VIC / SA / TAS through servicing key accounts to achieve the company’s key strategic objectives and generate sales opportunities. The primary focus of the role is to generate direct sales to local Clubs and Schools for Teamwear, Balls and Equipment across all our brands with a key focus GRAY-NICOLLS, GILBERT and . In addition sales to sponsors and corporates will be critical.

Period: Permanent Full Time (12 Month Probation Period) Hours of work: Full-time (40hrs per week) Remuneration: Based on experience Car allowance Phone & Laptop Bonus for achieving budget (TBC)

Goals & KPI’s

 Target Clubs & Schools to generate sales of teamwear, balls and equipment  Manage Key Account on a day-to-day basis with a view to increasing sales opportunities  Target sponsor/corporate businesses to generate sales across all categories (XXXX, Suncorp, Intrust, ConocoPhillips)  Achieve sales of $1.5M+

Key Accounts and Distribution Channels

 All affiliated Clubs & Associations governed by: Cricket VIC, Cricket SA, Cricket TAS (unofficial), Netball VIC, Netball SA, Netball TAS, Victorian Rugby Union, South Australian Rugby Union (unofficial), Tasmanian Rugby Union & Victorian Rugby League  Schools, Colleges & Universities*  Corporates: Sponsors of Associations and Clubs i.e. XXXX, Suncorp, Intrust, ConocoPhillips plus other corporates with an involvement in sport  Associations: Netball VIC, Netball SA, Netball TAS, Victorian Rugby Union, Melbourne Rebels & Victorian Rugby League

* Some excluded due to direct supply agreements in place

Head Office Expectations  Generate Teamwear sales in key territories  Grow existing direct accounts with Clubs and Schools and generate new customers  Work with sponsors and corporate on maximising sales opportunities  Manage Key Account on day to day business  Provide full account management – from introduction, through order process to post- delivery customer service  Take direction and report to National Sales Manager & Commercial Manager  Submit weekly WIP report highlighting contacts made, status of enquires and other key information such as contact details and existing customers

 SMU Sales Co-ordinator to be day to day liaison on all orders and queries relating to direct sales  Provide a weekly Sales Report highlighting sales opportunities and progress towards KPI’s

Additional Points to Note

 Must comply with Direct Sales Strategy to avoid confrontation with existing retail partners  No Cricket hardware direct sales without prior HO approval  Club Pricing to be used at all times (excluding teamwear)  No calls on retailers are required
