News from the Teacher:

*Parents progress reports are going out this Wednesday.

*Please have students practice multiplication tables daily.

*Please have students work on their IXL assignment. Each student has a login and password. This assignment is due Monday, November 9th. New IXL lessons are: D5, D11, D13, and D14

*Please sign agendas daily.

*Students are now able to use I Station at home, please let Mrs. Aveytia know if you are interested by writing a note in the agenda.

*Students should be reading 20 minutes a night and summarizing their reading Monday – Thursday. *Parents if you would like to meet with Mrs. Rodriguez send an e-mail to [email protected] to make an appointment. *Parents if you would like to meet with Mrs. Aveytia please send an e-mail to [email protected] to make an appointment.

What We are learning this week:

ELAR: We will be learning about biographies and autobiographies and expository text

MATH: we will be solving divisions involving decimals

SCIENCE: We will be learning about mixtures and solutions.

SOCIAL STUDIES: We will be learning about how the conflicts between The American Colonies and Great Britain lead to American Independence. Students will continue reading “Woods Runner.”
