<p> Fifth Grade Newsletter</p><p>November 2nd – 6th</p><p>Upcoming Events</p><p> November 3rd MOM’S meeting at 8:00  November 4th Progress reports go home  November 5th Parenting Classes at 8:00  November 5th Pictures retakes  November 11th Veteran’s Day (No school)  November 13th Fall Festival from 4:30 – 6:30</p><p>News from the Teacher: </p><p>*Parents progress reports are going out this Wednesday. </p><p>*Please have students practice multiplication tables daily. </p><p>*Please have students work on their IXL assignment. Each student has a login and password. This assignment is due Monday, November 9th. New IXL lessons are: D5, D11, D13, and D14</p><p>*Please sign agendas daily.</p><p>*Students are now able to use I Station at home, please let Mrs. Aveytia know if you are interested by writing a note in the agenda.</p><p>*Students should be reading 20 minutes a night and summarizing their reading Monday – Thursday. *Parents if you would like to meet with Mrs. Rodriguez send an e-mail to [email protected] to make an appointment. *Parents if you would like to meet with Mrs. Aveytia please send an e-mail to [email protected] to make an appointment.</p><p>What We are learning this week:</p><p>ELAR: We will be learning about biographies and autobiographies and expository text</p><p>MATH: we will be solving divisions involving decimals</p><p>SCIENCE: We will be learning about mixtures and solutions.</p><p>SOCIAL STUDIES: We will be learning about how the conflicts between The American Colonies and Great Britain lead to American Independence.
