CUT AND BURN CONTEST RULES

The Cut and Burn Contest is designed for TOPS members to participate in regular exercise ½ hour each day and cutting 100 calories each day. This Rally contest includes any exercise as long as is it 30 minutes of exercise daily.

1. RELEASE FORM: a. Form will be issued to each member registered to attend the 2014 Rally. b. Members in attendance may complete information and submit at the 2014 Rally. c. An extra form will be kept at the chapter for use as a master to make copies for non-attending members and new members who join within the Rally four month contest time. d. Release form needs to be sent to coordinator by August 31, 2014. No forms will be accepted after that date.

2. PARTICIPATION FORM: a. Member can color one square for each ½ hour of exercise and one square for each day 100 calories are cut between June 1 and September 28, 2014 b. Member will turn in form on the morning of the Rally. All required information must be filled in and Release Form must be in coordinator’s file.

3. TOPS WEIGHT: a. Base weight is the first weight of June. If absent or not yet a member, use the first weigh-in after joining. b. Ending weight is the last weigh-in before September 28, 2014. c. TOPS must have a minimum loss of 8 pounds or reach KOPS status.

4. KOPS WEIGHT: a. KOPS must maintain status as of 2014 Rally. b. KOPS must be within leeway at the last weigh-in before 2014 Rally.

5. PRIZES : a. Anyone with at least a 5 pound loss will be recognized at the 2014 Rally. TOPS need to lose a total of 8 lbs. (that is 2 lbs. per month) for an award. b. The Rally Committee has the option of awarding a bonus prize for over the 122 (1/2) hours.
