The “mean” is reduced/increased by 1 mile for every additional/reduction of 750 feet of ascent

Coach Trip to Llanberis

Sunday 7th July 2013

There will an opportunity to choose from 2 walks or to spend time sight-seeing.

Gina will lead a 5.5 mile walk round the lake after which people may have time to visit the Mining Museum and Hospital.

Garry will lead a moderate walk of 7 miles with 2,300 feet total ascent: Llanberis - Moel Eilio - Foel Gron - Foel Goch - Llanberis.

Non-walkers can take the railway to the top of Snowdon, where there is a visitor centre and cafe. (Note - they must book a RETURN ride, in advance.)

Other tourist attractions include the Electric Mountain (free entry: exhibition re; Hydro-electric plant)
