GROUP ORGANISERS

Welcome

We are delighted that you have chosen to bring your group to the Roman Baths and Pump Room site today and we hope you enjoy your visit. Group Leaders are admitted free to the site in order to allow supervision of their groups, to ensure that they get the most benefit from a visit and to allow all our other visitors to enjoy their visit, alongside larger groups. During your visit please encourage your group to use the main shop at the exit, which can better accommodate groups, rather than the small shop in the museum. For the comfort of other visitors students will only be admitted into the shops under supervision of the Group Leader and please note we operate a policy of prosecuting theft. If you need to meet up with group leaders and children in your party after the visit it would help us reduce congestion if you could arrange to meet outside the building, rather than in the shop.

Free admission of Group Leaders is based on the following ratio of supervision: - one leader for each 10 children, under 11 years - one leader for each 15 children, from 12 years upwards.

To help us to achieve this please would you sign this letter undertaking to accompany your group in the ratio listed above. We undertake: - to provide the required ratio of Group Leaders to children - to supervise our group at all times, throughout the Roman Baths, Pump Room, toilets and Roman Bath shops - to be responsible for the entire group during their visit
