A heady mix of raw alternative rock vocals, laced with hypnotising riffs & a gritty backbone.
Creating a unique sound for each of their tunes Kamikaze Test Pilots are as the name suggests a contradiction: a no-rules, non-conforming suicidal mesh of influences and a sound that reinvents itself with each new song.
The band’s self-titled album "Kamikaze Test Pilots" produced by Bobby Bloomfield (50 Cent/ Linkin Park/ P Diddy) was released via Matchbox Recordings with distribution from Universal Music Operations.
Having supported Nick Oliveri (Queens of the Stone Age), played gigs, festivals and toured Europe & Africa, Kamikaze Test Pilots are proving they are a force to be reckoned with in the emerging music scene.
With airtime on, international and independent stations as well as the BBC; features on music blogs and zines & live show bookings across the UK & Europe, 2017 looks set to be a big year for the band.

Bio:
The band began in 2005, started by brothers Ryan and Wes Niemandt who originate from southern Africa, with Simon Buckett joining as bassist in 2009.
Drawing influence from a wide scope of music, the band infuses edgy rock with metal and punk, adding a touch of African groove to spice things up in places. The stop start rhythms and lyrical content often draw comparisons with System of a Down, but the influences stretch further to the melodic vocals, chugging rhythm guitars and searing solos of Alice in Chains and World music, Kamikaze Test Pilots have managed to formulate a unique hypnotic sound with enticing hooks that perfectly encapsulates the bands character and ethos.
