Essential Criteria
Experienced drama workshop leader with a proven track record of working with people of all ages and from all backgrounds, to the highest professional standards Project management experience Proven ability to organise events involving large groups Proven ability to direct public sharings and performances where appropriate Strongly motivated and proactive, able to work on own initiative Proven ability to design, plan and deliver programmes of work Ambassadorial skills with the empathy and capacity to engage with a wide range of different people and groups An engaging and confident manner Ability to work in a team Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal A flexible approach to working hours (able to work in the evenings, during school holidays and on weekends if required) The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including excel spreadsheets and experience of working with databases. Numerate with experience of budget setting and monitoring. Superb organisational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and prioritise effectively Hold a current, clean DBS (Disclosures and Barring Service) check. Knowledge of the current education system
Desirable
Informed knowledge of and interest in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and its demographic Experience of working in a theatre or other arts organisation Experience of working with hard to reach community groups to engage them with creative activity Experience of working with disabled people or disability focused organisations Knowledge of theatre production A trained Arts Awards Advisor Experience of social media – including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. Experience of using CRM system - specifically Tessitura Possession of a full clean driving licence
