<p> NOTTINGHAM PLAYHOUSE PARTICIPATION OFFICER PERSON SPECIFICATION </p><p>Essential Criteria</p><p> Experienced drama workshop leader with a proven track record of working with people of all ages and from all backgrounds, to the highest professional standards  Project management experience  Proven ability to organise events involving large groups  Proven ability to direct public sharings and performances where appropriate  Strongly motivated and proactive, able to work on own initiative  Proven ability to design, plan and deliver programmes of work  Ambassadorial skills with the empathy and capacity to engage with a wide range of different people and groups  An engaging and confident manner  Ability to work in a team  Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal  A flexible approach to working hours (able to work in the evenings, during school holidays and on weekends if required)  The ability to work to deadlines and under pressure  Excellent IT skills, with good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including excel spreadsheets and experience of working with databases.  Numerate with experience of budget setting and monitoring.  Superb organisational skills and attention to detail  Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and prioritise effectively  Hold a current, clean DBS (Disclosures and Barring Service) check.  Knowledge of the current education system</p><p>Desirable</p><p> Informed knowledge of and interest in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and its demographic  Experience of working in a theatre or other arts organisation  Experience of working with hard to reach community groups to engage them with creative activity  Experience of working with disabled people or disability focused organisations  Knowledge of theatre production  A trained Arts Awards Advisor  Experience of social media – including Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram.  Experience of using CRM system - specifically Tessitura  Possession of a full clean driving licence</p><p>November 2017</p>
